Configure your AI agent

Set agent name, tone, check-in/out rules, FAQ, and attractions.

Each property has its own AI agent configuration. Open Properties → select the property → AI Config to edit.

Agent name

The name the AI uses when signing or referring to itself (e.g. “Marie”, “Villa Soleil Team”). Guests see this as the reply author.

Tone of voice

Choose a style that fits your brand: friendly, professional, casual, or formal. The AI keeps replies consistent with this tone.

Check-in and check-out rules

Plain-language rules the AI uses to answer arrival and departure questions: times, process, key/code handover, etc. Be concise; the AI will use these to avoid inventing details.

FAQ

Add question / answer pairs for topics guests often ask: WiFi, parking, appliances, house rules. The AI prefers these over guessing. You can add many; the plan may limit how many per property.

Local attractions

Add name, short description, and distance (e.g. “Beach — 5 min walk”). The AI uses these when guests ask for recommendations.

Initialize with AI

If you already have past guest/host messages in PingTeo for this property, you can use Initialize with AI to infer agent name, tone, rules, FAQ, and attractions from that history. Review and edit the result before saving.

Save and enable

After editing, Save. Then turn the agent on with the main toggle so it starts replying to new guest messages.
