Guided setup

After you’ve completed onboarding (plan, Beds24, properties), PingTeo can show a guided setup to get your first property fully operational: add property (if needed), configure agent, enable AI, and set the webhook.

What guided setup suggests

The exact steps depend on your account state. Typical order:

1. Add property — If you have no properties yet, add at least one from Beds24.
2. Configure agent — Open the first (or suggested) property and complete AI Config: name, tone, rules, FAQ. You can use “Initialize with AI” if you have past messages.
3. Enable AI — Turn the agent on for that property so it can reply.
4. Configure webhook — Set the Beds24 webhook URL (and secret if required) so new messages reach PingTeo. The dashboard may show your webhook URL and a link to Beds24.

When each step is done, the guide moves to the next. When all are done, you’re ready for your first guest message.

Where to see it

A callout or banner on the dashboard may appear until setup is complete, with links to the right page (e.g. “Configure agent” → property → AI Config). Dismiss or complete the steps to clear it.

Skipping or coming back

You can ignore the guide and configure things manually. The same steps (add property, AI Config, webhook) still apply; the guide just points you in order. You can always open Properties and Settings directly.
