Quickstart

End-to-end path from sign up to your first AI reply in minutes.

This guide walks you from signup to your first guest message handled by PingTeo.

1. Sign up and choose a plan

Create your PingTeo account and select a subscription (or start a free trial if available). You can change plans later from Settings.

2. Connect Beds24

In onboarding (or later in Settings), you’ll be asked to connect Beds24 using an invite code.

  • In Beds24, open the API settings page and generate an invite code (see Connect Beds24 for the required permissions).
  • Copy the generated invite code.
  • Paste the code in PingTeo and confirm. Once connected, PingTeo can see your properties and bookings.

3. Select properties

Choose which Beds24 properties you want to manage in PingTeo. Only selected properties will receive AI replies and automation. You can add or remove properties later from the Properties dashboard.

4. Configure your AI agent

For each property (or the one you want to try first):

  • Go to Properties → select the property → AI Config.
  • Set the agent name, tone (e.g. friendly, professional), check-in and check-out rules, and optionally FAQ and local attractions.
  • You can use Initialize with AI to infer these from past messages if you have history.

5. Enable the AI and set the webhook

  • In AI Config, turn the agent on (enable the AI for that property).
  • In Beds24, set the webhook URL for messages to your PingTeo webhook (you’ll see the URL in PingTeo, e.g. https://your-app.com/api/beds24/webhook/YOUR_USER_ID). This ensures new guest messages are sent to PingTeo in real time.

6. First guest message

When a guest sends a message:

  1. Beds24 sends it to PingTeo via the webhook.
  2. PingTeo generates a reply (or escalates to you).
  3. If the reply is sent automatically, it’s delivered back to the guest via Beds24. Otherwise you’ll see it in Messages for review or editing.
