Test AI responses

Try the AI with a sample message before a guest sends one.

You can test how the AI would reply without a real guest message. Use this to check tone, FAQ, and rules before turning the agent on.

Where to test

In Properties → select a property → AI Config, look for Test AI response (or a similar section). You’ll see a text box where you can type a sample guest message.

How it works

  • Type a question or message as a guest might (e.g. “What time is check-in?” or “Is there WiFi?”).
  • Click Generate (or equivalent). The AI uses the current agent config (and optional documents) to produce a reply.
  • You’ll see the reply text and often a confidence score or explanation. No message is sent to Beds24 or any guest; it’s for your eyes only.

What to try

  • Check-in / check-out — Confirm times and process match your rules.
  • FAQ topics — Ask the same questions as in your FAQ and check the answers.
  • Edge cases — e.g. “Can I get a refund?” (should be escalated if that intent is configured).
  • Tone — See if the reply matches the tone you chose.

Adjust tone, rules, FAQ, or escalation as needed, then test again. When you’re satisfied, turn the agent on so it can reply to real guests.
