Scheduling
How days-before, days-after, and local time are applied.
Automation triggers that are time-based (before check-in, during stay, before check-out) use days and local time so messages go out at a sensible hour in the property’s time zone.
Before check-in
- Days before — e.g. 2 = two days before check-in date.
- Time (local) — e.g. 10:00 = send at 10:00 in the property’s (or account’s) time zone on that day.
- So “2 days before, 10:00” = 10:00 two days before check-in.
During stay
- Days after check-in — e.g. 1 = one day after the guest checks in.
- Time (local) — When on that day to send (e.g. 11:00).
- So “1 day after check-in, 11:00” = 11:00 on the day after arrival.
Before check-out
- Days before check-out — e.g. 1 = one day before check-out date.
- Time (local) — e.g. 09:00.
- So “1 day before check-out, 09:00” = 09:00 on the day before departure.
Time zone
The local time is usually taken from the property or account time zone setting. Ensure that’s correct in Settings so “10:00” is 10:00 where the property is (or where you want messages sent).
Booking created
For booking_created, there’s no “days before/after”; the trigger fires when the booking is created or first synced. You can often set a delay (e.g. 5–10 minutes) so the message doesn’t go out at an odd hour.
